I've been kind of dazed and disconnected. Sleeping lots and lots. I've also been having internetty trouble so I'm kind of behind with everything. But I'm okay. The mysterious bug was never seen again; I hope nobody thought it had crawled away under my bed where it grew and grew and grew until it was so big it could re-emerge and gobble me up. Normal service will resume shortly.
Perhaps it was a twiddlebug. They're all right.
Though I don't doubt that it probably just fell and rolled under something. I'm sure you can't have imagined the whole thing. Though there was that night, a couple of months ago, when I woke up and swore I could see a bat hanging upside-down from the window in my hallway. The thing started to crawl up the wall honestly! But when I actually mustered the courage to venture into the hallway, there wasn't anything there. And I like to think I'm mostly sane. So there you go.
I once stepped accidentally on what I think may have been a black swallowtail butterfly caterpillar, which was horrible on several levels as I was barefoot at the time. Sometimes one can't scrub the sole of one's foot enough, you know? Ugh.
Can we please stop sharing reminiscences (?) about bugs. Please. I need to go upstairs soon and there might be ...
Goldfish, snooze away and take care. Your time-outs are understood to be part of your normal service.
What Sally said. We'll be around when you're back.
We are currently hunting a ghost bug (well we do not evenknow if it is a bug), as we have discovered that something is eating our plants. I mean, not just nibbling, but eating considerably large parts of them.
How odd is that?
Hope Sally didn't read that...
Anyway, take as much sleep as you need!
I think it's the time of year myself.
Woops sorry my blog was getting a little tryte so I deleted it and started again, thinking I had used the same URL.
